I stitched this hoopla up for the Monthly Hoopla Stitch Along.  January's theme was was Too the Moon and Back and I found the perfect pattern on Urban Threads.  I am trying to use different stitches in my hoops and for this I used the satin stitch, the split stitch, the stem stitch, and the back stitch.

Lovely job, Lindy!  I'm not much of a hoopla fan, but THIS one, I'd hang up with pride!

I like it, too. I love the blue background. And the thread colors you chose on top really stand out well. But the quote? Well...reminds me of the Honeymooners in a chuckly sort of way  Grin "To the moon, Alice" Tee hee. Just my off color humour.
Sorry. I think you did a wonderful job. I like the way you sculped the ribbon for the quote, too. Very free and stylish.

It looks great! I might need to stitch that pattern up for my son's room.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to start trying to use more/different stitches, but I'm just not good at anything except back stitch. I love back stitch so much and always go back to it.
