It is a program in the current copy of  Women's Day March 2014. page 26, bottom right panel.

Girls Love Mail is requesting notes of love and support to recent breast cancer diagnosed patients.

girlslovemail.com  has more information, and wording suggestions if you aren't sure what to say.

Mail your love to:

Girls Love Mail
2330 E. Bidwell St. Suite 200
Folsom, CA 95630

They will forward your card or letter of encouragement to their list of recipients at hospitals/clinics.

My Mom is a breast cancer survivor. And as women, we need to stick together for this cause.

I also posted this on the breast cancer site that I found here, but I wish to get the word out.
Sorry for the double post. But I feel a need to share this.

It seems to be a great program, and I plan to make several cards and letters to share there.
I hope other members also do the same. You can send your letters all in one envelope...they will re-envelope for you, and they ask that you only put a first name and last initial in your signature for the card or letter. You are anonymous. They don't share your personal info. This is a RAK. {Random Act of Kindness}

Please go to their website, and they can spell out the rules for this. They do not want talks about death, etc.
These cards are for ladies who are recently going through the steps to help heal from breast cancer {men, too...sorry guys...didn't mean to leave you out} You may share some experiences, but nothing that would scare. It is meant to be upbeat...a have a happy day experience.

Thanks!
~T

What a thoughtful idea! I will rally my three beautiful daughters together and we will make some cards!  Smiley
