I have received the most fabulously important things from Killam Creative!

Everything together, awesome crown, badass brooch and wall sign. Yes, that's me Phizzychick the Phabulous! Grin

Swoon! KC, definitely knew my tastes!

Phabulous sign, perfect to hang in my studio...

Badass, because I am! Crafted on a lovely vintage brooch. This is pinned on my coat as we speak, so all shall know...

And last but most certainly not least, a gorgeous woodland crown! It's so pretty, and KC made everything from scratch including the fantastic pinecone flower!

Darn, it's so hard to photograph in this greyness to fully do it justice! Here's it on me...

So pretty!

Thanks for such an amazing swap!

Phizz, that crown is so YOU! I can imagine you wearing it every day. Also, I love that badass pin. What are the letters made of? Nice stuff, KC!

Isn't it ace? I'm not 100% certain, but they look like they could be gold painted wood Smiley

Phizzychick, I'm so glad you like everything! My muse has been playing a cruel game of hide and seek for a while now, but she let a little inspiration sneak out.  Roll Eyes

The crown is very very very "inspired" *ahem* from Phizzy's My Style board on Pinterest. It's asymmetrical and can be worn with the pinecone on the side-ish, too. This was neat to make since I've never worked with florist tape and certainly haven't deconstructed a pile of pine cones before! I LOVE the flower and will have to make more!

I have to admit that the pin was hard to give up.  Grin I wrapped green velvet ribbon around the pin and adhered with E6000. It's the only adhesive I have that stuck to the fabric so I hope it's not still stinky. The gold bit at the bottom is a ribbon slide with the slide removed and little dangly pearls added.

The letters are wood Studio Calico "Darling Dear", painted with gold paint. I found them at Michael's at Christmas (with the green velvet!).

I'm not certain I completely understand the construction of the Badass brooch. You might need to send me one so that I fully understand how it was made  Wink
