I have a lot of denim skirts I wear during the winter (and to various church functions that require me to wear skirts. Which is all of them.) I can't stand them. They all had splits in the back that were waay too high for my taste, and I felt exposed. Since I couldn't say "The heck with it" and put on a nice pair of pants, I made some modesty panels (also called kick pleats) and "fixed" them.

I fixed five skirts in all, the one on the top is my favorite.

I used a tutorial that was originally on Pintrest. It led to This blog:

What a great idea and I love your choices of fabrics too. It almost makes me want to change the lengths of my skirts. Wink

I like the way you "fixed" them, it adds a bit of pizzaz to them!  Cheesy

Very fun! I really like how you added splashes of color to your skirts.
