It probably took me 2-3 weeks to do, working on it a bit every day.  I was a tad OCD about the folding though, and that definitely took the longest.  No hidden messages; I actually wanted the whole thing to look uniform, so anything written on the inside might have a been visible.

Holy smokes!! This is so cool!! I love the look of the final lantern. It must have been a ton of work to fold all of those fortune tellers. I used to make them by the dozen in middle school but it's been a while Smiley.

 Decided to go back through older posts.  Glad I did...  Shocked Truly lovely.  They would charge a lot of money in a lighting store for something with that texture.  I am impressed.
