This dress is an adaptation of Burda 9829 view C. I used only two pattern pieces - the front and back. My friend had requested a new dress for her daughter as she had grown out of an earlier one I made. The earlier one was from a pattern I had made myself and this Burda pattern is the closest match I could get. I made it from a purple fleece blanket from Ikea. It is fastened with two poppers on each flap the stitching for which is covered with buttons.

The edging at the bottom was first edged in bias binding and then attached. I like how it has come out Smiley
