Buried in Beads!

So I went a little crazy after I learned how to make them...   It was Christmas and I have a few birthdays early on in the year.
That is a sample of all of them.  I am still learning to use a new to me app on the iPad to do collages, so bear with me on that one.    Grin

This is the first one I ever worked on.  It turned into an ocean/ fish type theme.  I used the coraling technique in the dangles to make coral strands and bubbles near the circle.  It also has little fish beads at the base of the dangles and in the center.  I kept this one, since he moral of this story is: coraling can be a huge PITA, but looks super cool!

Like the beaded boxes last year, Mom and my friend, Betty both got something purple for their February birthdays.

Christmas gift for another friend who likes red.  I worked some crystal beads into the spiral.  She loves red, and I like the way it looks like a peppermint candy!

A woodland green catcher with bear bead.  For my friend's nephew's January birthday.  He loves bears and green.  He thought it was neat!

Another that ended up being a New Years more than Christmas gift to a friend of mine.  Firework themed with little stars cascading down.

They are tons of fun to make, and these made awesome gifts.  It is nice to have a quick project to get creative with that turns out well.

Thank you!   They were this season's really quick beading project too.   I have some pattern variations I want to play with when it comes to the weave soon too.  Smiley

Thanks a bunch!  They are such a fun project, and great for random beads handing around when you get onto making the dangles.  Smiley

I want to play with a big hoop sometime too, or go three dimensional in the future too!

Do you have a pattern?  If not, can you point to where to find the pattern?  Would love to make a couple for my granddaughters.  Your Dream Catchers are beautiful.

Thanks!  The local bead store owner is in the middle of publishing a book of patterns.  I learned from  her employees.  Smiley. It's more of a technique than pattern, once you get it you can play and do all sorts of cool different stuff too!

I don't know if I could explain it really well via the internet.  The book will have tons of pictures and what not.

The store is called Pristine's, and as soon as it is ready she will put it on the webpage.
