It was difficult for me to decide if my questionnaire was sufficiently detailed, but I finally forced myself to submit it....

That's OK - that's what PMs are for!  Besides, maybe there will be some new nonsense shared in the conversation that we all fall in love with!

I am seeing nonsense I have forgotten and wished I added to mine when I signed  up, and making me think of other nonsense too...

For example - Muppets - totally nonsensical and hilarious...  Love the muppets (and so sad that John Henson also passed away too early...)

Tim Burton - oh yes, I do love his movies, and he has an obviously skewed and odd view of the world.

Shakespeare - but of course - his fools for one!

Frank L. Baum and the wonderful world of OZ!

Robin Hood Men in Tights and Spaceballs - so Mel Brooks (how could I forget him?) and the late, great John Candy

... I am not familiar with some of the others, but look forward to learning about them...

please continue to share!

For those of you on the fence - laughter is the best medicine and it has been a hard, cold winter Smiley

Also, please remember for those who are interested, you need to post in the thread also to join the swap as per swap rules!  Glad to have anyone join the swap - but please join the conversation too.

Hmmm I didn't even think of Jasper Fforde for nonsense but of course it's PERFECT. I adore the Thursday Next series. As far as nonsense poetry - Shel Silverstein will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. I'm re-reading one of his poem books to my daughter each night right now.

I tried very, very hard to resist this swap, but I just couldn't.

I just thought of another piece of nonsense I adore: Terry Pratchett's Discworld Cheesy

I'm particularly fond of his City Watch series and all the wizards. Excluding Rincewind - for some reason he grates on my nerves. But who can resist the luggage? And the Librarian? I mean seriously, it's pure nonsensical genius.

To swap or not to swap...

That is the burning silly question.

Always give in to the urge to swap....

I did list Terry Pratchett - I love DEATH, and the DEATH of RATS, and the witches - Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg are awesome.  I love Douglas Adams too...  I forgot to mention Red Dwarf though - anyone else like Red Dwarf - loved the book , then became hooked on the show?

Oh yes, and Fawlty Towers - love Fawlty Towers.

Welcome new swappers!
