I've been collecting fabric for ages and have decided that 2014 is the year to start making myself some clothes! The first thing I made was this crop top; keeping with the fashions, you know? ~___^ I made the pattern with the help of my dressmaker friend, and made it from cotton. It's fully lined and has a center back zip but ... I think I'm going to refashion it into the bodice of a dress. Dresses are more my style, I think! ^___^

I think it looks great as it is. I love the colour splashes on the plain grey fabric and your design shows that fabric off to a tee.

It's quite cute! Love it paired with that skirt, too.  It would also make a lovely dress bodice. either way, it's lovely!
