The recent ATB swap has got me addicted. I made this Japan ATB for my buddy Vincentvanbuck.



I started out with these images:





I cut them into strips and put them on the block:



Then I used these Japanese coins (straight out of VVB's stockpile):



And used them as feet for the block:





This is the back: On the top I painted a crane



The top is another stack of coins and the rising sun

Thanks Smiley The Cherry Blossoms were actually what inspired me to make this block. I found them at a craft store and have been holding on to them for a while looking for something to use them on. They're just little plastic cherry blossoms

It is really lovely!  I love the images you used and the symbolic crane...the sakura are also very pretty! They add a delicate touch to the block!
