craftykate, I did not use a pattern but I could probably write one up.

I would love the pattern. But I totaly understand if you don't want to share it, in case you are going to sell them, or the pattern.

confusion between what we have and what we are...

Argh, I finally remembered to write up the pattern for this one.  You know how crazy summer is.  Or any time Mercury's in retrograde, for that matter.

Needles:
29" circulars, size 7.

Gauge:
19 x 26 = 4"

Yarn:
I used Bernat Super Saver in mint and white.

Directions:
CO 120 (or whatever you think will fit you... my waist is 27") in white.
k1p1 for 5 rows.
Switch to mint and knit for 10".
Next row: k2tog, yo, k4(or a number divisible by your CO# minus two), repeat.
k for another 5" (ish, or just hold it up to you to tell the length)
Switch to white, k 60 or half the total stitches, turn.
Go back over in 1x1 rib for 5 rows, BO.
Return to where you left off with the green, p30, turn, k30.  Go back and forth but decrease one at the beginning of every row until you have 4 left.  Bind off.
Do the same thing with remaining 30 sts.
Pick up the stitches along the sides of the triangles (one side at a time) and make 5 rows of 1x1 rib in white.
At the top of the triangle, pick up the stitches going across and continue for the straps (garter stitch).  I decreased the straps to chains, which I tied in bows.

Finishing:
Seam up the open corners at the armpits and such.  Weave in ends.
Make a long chain of white and thread it through your little eyelets.

The end!
