Craft like there's no tomorrow...

I have drawn in pencil, pen, and graphic marker for most of my artistic endeavors since middle school. I've even "painted" a drawing I did onto a canvas but I only used black paint to make a black and white graphic. I didn't mix any colors, and to me it was like drawing with paint, not really painting, but that's just me. So finally, I actually painted something. I was inspired to use the 3 primary colors to paint with and used some of my art supplies as still life subjects. (I thought why not, eh?)

I didn't mix any paint for this. The secondary colors were formed by the layering of wet paint over dried layers using stippling. I really had a lot of fun with it.

Thanks for looking! Any comments/critiques are welcome  Cheesy

This is a great piece that shows the variation you can get with only 3 colours!  Which is kind of amazing considering all the different paint colours you can buy Smiley

Beautifully done with the limited pallet. The colors you used are not what you would expect either. Smiley

Beautiful! You may not have "painted" before, but you certainly know how to do it.
