I wanted to share this wheel thrown bowl with you because I think its the most beautiful piece I've made yet.  There is a glaze in the lab that we call "crazy clear".  It's just supposed to be clear but the company screwed up the mix, so it does crazy stuff.  Some cool stuff, like mixing colors crazy ways; as seen below.  This bowl was dipped in green and then in the inside I spooned in some crazy clear.  It sure makes interesting and beautiful results.

Thank you all.  I wish they could recreate the "mess up".  Unfortunately nobody knows what went wrong when they mixed the ratios. So when its gone, its gone.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

Beautiful bowl and glaze. Like I always tell my students, there are no accidents in art. One mistake can turn in to something completely unexpected and beautiful.

My suggestion is to buy up as much of this "crazy" clear you can find.

Artmomto5, I can't tell you how many of my finished pieces started as mistakes but turn out wonderfully in the end, albeit different than planned.  Smiley  That seems to happen more with my ceramics than any other craft.
