Oh, I almost forgot, kosmicgirl sent me one of her great Steampunk cards too, and this bonus postcard from IKEA. (Why doesn't our IKEA have such cool stuff?)

Cheer up Wulf our Ikea DO have those cards! I picked up that set of a few months back at the one near Hamilton. Take a look - you might get lucky!

    Received from elyxandra today:
    http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/193887_06Mar14_100_2493.JPG

I couldn't figure out what the circle one on the left was until I stamped it. Then I recognized "It's an eyeball!" Am I right, elyxandra?  The grooves on the hand are so fine they're barely visible on the stamp, but they show up just fine. There's a tiny dent in the rubber (from shipping, probably) on the cuff, which is located just right to read as a button! Cheesy And I especially love the cockroach!

Thanks, elyxandra! Your guess at what I might like was exactly right!  Cheesy

    Wulf

I'm so glad you enjoyed the stamps I sent! Any yes, it is an eyeball! feel free to draw some gross veins on if you're feeling like an insomniac that day.

Check out this BEAUTIFUL and detailed stamp that Wulf sent to me.
He combined my themes of cute, animals, and Victorian.
I'll be using this on the next round of letters I write!

Hey, look at me! Taking over the Gallery thread for a while! I'm glad you liked them. I think that one with the babies and the goat is my favourite.

I guess there is a reason Wulf is so lucky: his partners are too! That one with the goat and babies is beyond awesome, not to mention the one he made Koreena! WOAH!

Wow my mind is blown. I never would have guessed that stamp with the two kids was hand crafted. AMAZING job Wulf.

The frolicking babies stamp wasn't actually that hard to carve. I'd been putting it off because I started with Koreena's and it was a bit of a slog, so I wasn't looking forward to all the curliques on the other. But it was a different carving material and went super-fast. It probably helped that I was working on another, super-detailed one for myself at the same time, so this seemed like a vacation!
