Just wanted to give you a quick update Smiley Although we still have piece's being donated we have now surpassed our taget by about 5 metres!

We are going to continue til the 21st Sept when we will officially call it done.

Also we are about half way through the 2nd book of raffle tickets for the Dr Who scarf and I suspect we will draw the ticket on the 21st as well Smiley

Thank you to all who have supported us in this  Cheesy

So... Since all is over and done with, was enough money raised to meet the goal? How long did it go? Did the blankets get made? How many?

Sorry! I kept meaning to update you all and it just kept getting delayed  Sad

Yes, we raised more than enough money to meet the goal (I'm afraid I dont have the exact figure but I was told we exceeded the target)

We ended up 35 metres over target Smiley

As for blankets, when we were dismantling it we realised that almost all the sections were of 'scarf' length so instead of making them into blankets we decided to sell them & raise more money - which has made a total of 250 extra funds Smiley and I should be able to get my company to double that through our comunity fundraising matched doation scheme Cheesy

I do still have a small bag of smaller pieces/squares which should make one maybe two childrens sized blankets - once I have worked out how to join them up  Huh

Thank you to everyone who donated a section or passed on the info to someone else - we couldnt have dont this without you!
