I made these for the recent "inchie my theme" swap.  My partner's theme was the 1950s and I chose to focus on 50s diners.  I used retro scrapbooking paper for the background and graphics of retro food.  I researched diner lingo- the language waitstaff use to communicate orders to the cook.  Each phrase correlates with the food pic.  I found a fun "diner" font to type the phrases in.  I had so much fun with these, especially with the research of the lingo.  Apparently this type of lingo is unheard of outside of the United States and varies by region.
