I find I can't make anything in an hour, no matter how simple I think it is, it always takes hours....   Tongue

I finished my Smalls, but they took longer than an hour apiece, though you wouldn't know it....

Oh man, me too. I finally went back and read the rules again and thought, uh-oh. I've already gone way over the large-sized time suggestion. It is my first swap and I got overly-zealous and set the bar extremely high for myself feeling like I had to make a statement coming into this as a newbie. Now I'm in it. I just hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew to finish in the time-frame allotted. Fortunately the small ideas are coming to me and they will be much quicker, I will have to make sure of it if I want to get anything else done. Haha!

Oh goodness... Time has flown for me, I didn't realise that it had been so long and I hadn't posted anything! I am SO EXCITED to do this swap, there are so many monster-based possibilities! Forgive me for my lack of communication!

I've got several projects on the fire.   Smiley  One item verges on the large size, I guess, in terms of time put into it but whatever!  I'm having fun.  Hopefully I won't be giving too much away when I admit that one item I'm working on has a nose that is giving me problems.  I was trying to redo my design yet again while at work and finally, in frustration, let out a "Argh!  I hate my nose!".  A co-worker turned to me and said "Me too!".  Then quickly said, "Wait!  Did you say that you hate snow?!".  LOL!

Made some good progress this weekend, although my biggest item still has a lot of work before it's complete.

I have the same issue.  I don't mind at all, but my "smalls" usually take long.  In fact, sometimes a simple drawn ATC can take me an hour to complete!  I'm slow, but I enjoy the process.  Still, itt would be great if I could super produce like some other Craftsters!

It's all smoke and mirrors. I feel like I take forever to craft things too. I'm guessing most of us do. Opps...giving the secrets away. We all actually have a crew of little elves or fairies working for us! HE HE.

I've been working on finishing up a few claims from the OWS, hopefully in the next few days, and then all attention on monsters!  I've been making quite a list in my downtime so I feel good that I have plenty of ideas, sometimes that's the hardest part (besides picking fabric, ugggg)

I had a spark of inspiration right around my bedtime tonight. I had to. You know when you can't resist the creative muse? When she comes knocking, you answer. Two and a half hours later one of my smalls is finally finished. Woohoo! Active progress! *sigh* It is now 1:00 A.M.... I think I'll go to bed now. Have a fabulous night fellow monster-folk!
