I did decorate the mug.
here is a closer pic of my favorite side.
I used Sharpie paint pens.  they are my new favorite toy Smiley

I got a fantastic package from Geekgirl1000100. She sent some local coffee that is yummy. I've been enjoying it very much. She also send some Starbucks coffee, 2 hot cocoas, hazelnut coffee flavoring, crme brulee liquid coffee sticks, a coffee candy bar (it's in a baggie because I've been munching on it), and some coffee chocolate candy (that box is also empty in the picture..I have no self control). She made me an awesome chunky scarf, fingerless mittens, and a painted mug. I love everything Geekgirl1000100!! Thank you so much!
