So, recently I discovered that they make these really awesome blank iphone cases. I saw one at Walmart one day and I just had to get it.

Here's the one I made for myself! (4S)

A friend on mine saw this picture and asked me to make two cases for him. One of Sonic and one of Knuckles! (these are also 4S)

In case you're wondering how I designed them.. I found a grid on the internet, but the stitch count was off by a few, so I edited it in photoshop to make it exactly the same as the case. Then I found the sonic and knuckles pixels and stretched so that they fit into the grid! Here's how they look.

After I finished those, another friend wanted mario riding yoshi. I'm done not stitching it yet, but here's the design! The whole thing wouldn't fit, but I think it looks fine (I sent it to him and he said it's fine, too!). Smiley This one is for the iphone 5.

I thought these were so cool and just wanted to share! Hope you guys like them!

Nice job!  I tried to do one before but it got really baggy and never relaxed to fit the phone. How did you get yours to not stretch out?

Thank you, everyone! Grin

Thanks! They did stretch out some.. I couldn't really figure out a good way to avoid that. I think it's because the holes in the rubber don't go all the way through, so there's no extra room for the thread to go (like normal cross stitch fabric has). The rubber is kind of weird/difficult to work with. Basically, I just tried to be careful to not pull too tight with my stitches, because I thought pulling would stretch it out more. And I used a smaller needle than the one that came with the case, so that might have helped. I also just figured out that if you stitch with less strands of floss, it stretches out less. I did all of these with two strands, but I tried stitching with only one today and it seemed to be working better! Hope this helps at least a little. Smiley

I would love to have one of these! Or learn how to make them! Do you sell these on Etsy or anything?
