Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Yay!  So happy you liked it Sheep!  Smiley  It was fun crafting for you!  Just in case you wanted to know....the bullet casings are from the dessert in LA!  I wanted to collect more than a handful, but it was hot and my helpers didn't want to stay out of the AC for too long.  LOL.  I got some tiny ones too that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with.

The tiny ones could be earrings???

Smiley  I was actually trying to find tiny crystals to make a more dainty pendant, but yes earrings or maybe a bracelet!  Just need lots of cases!  Smiley

I received the most awesome hoop in my coffee theme from kittykill!

There was also a bar of dark Giardelli chocolate that was immediately snatched up by the hubby...he figures it is his share of the loot! Grin

I already have it hanging at my coffee station !  Thanks so much for a beautiful piece!

Pretty skull bracelet, haven't seen dark blue ones before! Love the coffee hoop! I've been thinking about stitching it up but didn't know if I'd like it.

I received two great packages yesterday.

First from ActsofCraftiness. She sent a wonderful box of supplies: embroidery hoops, which I can always use I tend to use them up very quickly for swaps  Cheesy,  an assortment of large black/silver sew-on snaps, black and blue bias tape and interfacing. Thanks so much Acts!

Next from alwaysinmyroom. She claimed me for a fabric basket with Alexander Henry fabric and supplies.

The supplies: embroidery hoops, assorted dmc floss, fabric markers and memory thread (excited to try the markers and memory thread out), sewing thread, and sew-on snaps.

And the awesome basket, which I love and already put to use for my WIPs. Thanks so much AIMR!

lol spikefan freaked me out because she had crossed off some of her supplies...I was sure that I had sent the wrong supplies to her! ha ha

The fabric markers are great for all sorts of stenciling, etc....quick, too, since they have broad tips!

I think we are sending you hoops because we sort of like your projects... Grin...we want to make sure you continue! Grin  I would love to see what you do with that memory thread...there are some great ideas on their website!
