Here is the wonderful card that vincentvanbuck made for my Vintage Children's books theme. He grew up with Richard Scarry, as did I and my daughter! I am sure millions of kids loved his work. vvb describes his fond memories of going to his grandmother's where their first order of the day was to read a Scarry book. (He and his brother are represented here, with Grandma as the reader.)
Adorable! I loooove lowly worm.
Thank you so much, vincentvanbuck. Makes my heart sing!

I love Scarry's world! I read his books at least once a week at school and the kids love them. I love how you captured Lowly, John. Is that you or your brother? Smiley )

Wow, that bear looks awesome!

It's funny, I mentioned to blu in the note I sent along with the card that I wasn't sure whether I was Huckle Cat or Lowly Worm in the picture.  After giving it some thought, I think I've decided that I'm represented by Lowly Worm, though.   Wink

Here is a super funny chicken card for my theme of Bam! CDEeeek did this in the style of Wayne White. They usually sound like that during cicada season.  Tongue  Cheesy

card by CDEeeek, theme Antique Nautical.
I looove it! Adore old maps of the sea, love knots (CD said they are hard to learn) and I hope y'all can read the blurry piece written by Lord Byron. Complete with burned-type edging.
Thank you, CDEeeek. I had no idea what somebody would come up with for this theme. I think you totally rocked it!
Might you have a clearer pic? My camera is beginning to croak.

I love the BAM BAM chicken card, that's hilarious. Simultaneously brings to mind that chef guy and also those gunpowder poppers you get for July 4th (in the US).

It feels a bit weird posting a Feb card now, but my angel sent me a wonderful take on my Animal/Veggie theme. I laughed out lout when I opened it. A zebra eggplant doesn't come calling every Day! Thank you jo_mama! The colors are so vibrant!
