I'm a girly girl, so my calves are HUGE. WEEEELLL. Now I've gone and done it LOL
I bought these awesome boots, but my feet would not fit. So after consulting a shoe smith (hehehe I'm Finnish. what's the word? Cheesy) she said that I just needed a wider flap and I could use my local *shoesmith* to make them all better, she said her pay would be 50 euros. She is too far away for me to use. So since I don't trust any *shoesmiths* in my area, I decided to do it myself :DDDDDDD

Happy as a clam, I am!

Nicely done  Smiley I have the same problem with the beautiful white & gold DMs my husband bought for me on our honeymoon,I'm not confident enough to cut them myself but I hope that someone will be able to do it for me!

Just went to your blog to see the steps- girl, this is pure genius! I, too, have this problem- have always been tall and relatively thin, but have bulky, muscular calves- now I'll know how to fix those lovely boots up, no more tears! Thank you so much!!!!  Grin
