I made these for Averia in the Ongoing Wish Swap. I found journals at the craft store, painted the covers white and then put on the washi tape. The reason for the white paint is that the washi tape was see through and you could see the old pattern on the journal through it. I also made her pencils. I am now completely addicted to washi tape.

This would be a great little hostess gift or in Easter baskets.

I also made one for artmomto5 in the Whimsie Swap.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

Thanks ladies!

Racky-I can't wait to see what you make. I have ordered so many rolls of washi tape-I refuse to believe I have a problem. I'm just stocking up, just in case.  Cheesy

Another fabulous use for Washi Tape!  My kids used it to make little notebooks for their teachers Christmas presents but I never thought to use it on a bigger notebook!

These are so cute! I've just started getting into washi tape. You've got a lot of variety...my local store doesn't have that many unfortunately.

Thanks! I have been on a search for more washi tape. From time to time Pick Your Plum has it on sale, online for a 1.50 a roll.

Another site that has it pretty cheap is The Plaid Barn.  Blitzy might have some too.   I actually found some at a Dollar store a while back!
