I just made my first two TM patches a couple of weeks ago and loved making them.  I would be in for this.

And, thanks to vincentvanbuck Smiley I'm thinking about joining in, too. Depends on the timing and what the swap details are. I've never made a TM patch, but I'm intrigued...

I'm like you -- have never made a TM patch, but I have a nifty kit thanks to a generous
swap partner, and I should put it to good use!

Ooooh! What was included in the kit? I may have to start assembling supplies...

And, would we pick a theme for our patches? I was thinking that science-themed patches could be put together to make a piece to hang in my classroom. I'm thinking about turning my cabinet fronts into a science art gallery. I have a bunch of prints that I've been collecting, and it would be fun to showcase them along with other works.

I had never heard of TM patches before this week, but it would be fun to experiment with them. I'm curious about the scope of this swap.

craftADDchick, the marvelous quaggy was the one who sent my kit,
and here's where I posted about it:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=425850.msg5077024#msg5077024

let me go grab the kit now to give you more details....

ok,
lots of fabric
lots of embroidery floss
lots of beads
lots of buttons
a clear organizer for beads
some completed patches (lovely!)
one patch in progress (just what I need to gain confidence) AND
her own set of instructions!  (I do much better with written directions than
just watching a video clip over & over)....

as I look back through this, I'm blown away again -- quaggy, I hope you see this
post, bec. you ROCK, g/f!!!!!

Is this still going to happen? I hope at least in March. I'll be done with my last swap by the end of this month. So I will be open for a swap or 2 by then. Also I want to get my bag done too, it's all TM patches!  Wink
