Hi "golden sunshine" Yes I love doing those too! I was also gone for awhile & have got back into swapping recently. It would be better for me in March so I can get the 2 swaps done I'm in now. Then I would love to be in a Teesha Moore swap!!

I've been wanting to try TM patches for a long time... I'm at near full-capacity on my Swap List, and I'm saving my last spot for a "must-do" Swap.  But I also sent out for another swap today, so hopefully I'll be getting feedback on that within the week.  Depending on what my List looks like come sign-ups, I'd definitely like to join!

Ooooh! What was included in the kit? I may have to start assembling supplies...

And, would we pick a theme for our patches? I was thinking that science-themed patches could be put together to make a piece to hang in my classroom. I'm thinking about turning my cabinet fronts into a science art gallery. I have a bunch of prints that I've been collecting, and it would be fun to showcase them along with other works.

    lots of fabric

    some completed patches (lovely!)
one patch in progress (just what I need to gain confidence) AND

so would anyone like another round of the Ongoing TM swap?

apparently I helped co-organize this a couple of years ago (how quickly I forget such things  Huh

    Here is the swap thread:

    and this was the discussion:
    http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=407646.0#axzz2vKKA9BQh

I might be able to organize this (have to read up on the rules for an ongoing swap  Smiley

so might need to wait until there is more interest?

While I didn't get hit with the expensive home repair I was expecting (Whew! And, double whew!), I don't think I'd do well with an ongoing swap, especially knowing my crafting/swapping tendencies Smiley But, if it gets set up as a "regular" swap, I'd probably do it!

I would like a regular Swap too. Just pick 1 or 2 partners & make 2 or 3 TM Patches each. Maybe make a kit for the extra, that was fun when we did that in 1 of the TM swaps! I love making TM Patches so much fun!!  Grin

ah, I see a trend here toward wanting a regular partner swap...
I'd like to get some loose ends tied up on the swap I'm currently
organizing before I take on hosting another,
    so craftADDchick, take it away!

Okay, kayrun! I can get to it! I hope you'll still join in on the swap!

And, if folks give me some feedback on sign-up times, and length of crafting time (I've never made a TM patch before, so I don't know how long it'll take), I can try to set it up this weekend!

Hi "craftADDchick" thanks for organizing!   Cheesy   I'd say 1 to 2 weeks sign up & 2 to 3 weeks crafting. We also do 1 to 3 patches & 1 or 2 partners. You can put it in the questionnaire & each person can say what each person wants. Also what themes etc.  Also maybe as a extra a TM Patch kit if they want too! I hope that helps!  Wink

Thanks, jennythor and Sharalee! I need to check my calendar for school to make sure I'm not burying myself when grades are due, but I'll definitely plan on setting things up this weekend. And, I love the idea for the kit option! I'll seek out the previous rounds to see how things were set up and start from there.

Hooray! I'm looking forward to trying something new!

2-3 weeks for 1-3 patches for 1-2 partners sounds perfect to me, too! These bad boys whip up really quick!

I like the kit idea. I haven't done that in a swap yet.

Sounds like the kit idea is a great option to add in as an "extra!" I'll make sure to include it on the questionnaire.
