They are all Red Heart soft yarn
Dark Leaf
http://www.shopredheart.com/default.aspx?PageID=62&CategoryID=4&ProductID=1995&RootCatCode=01000 (Here is the link for the colors)

I'm planning on making my mom an ripple throw for Mother's Day and I wanted to get it started as soon as possible. I asked her to go on the red heart website and these are the colors she picked. (I didn't tell her what I was making) I just think that these might be to dark together. Do you think it would look ok? Thanks. Smiley

I don't think they're too dark. Just order the yarns so that the grape and navy aren't right next to each other, because they do look pretty similar

I like the colors, particularly with that one lighter color for highlighting.
What pattern will you do?

Thank you all so much. I know my mom will like the colors so I'm going to stick with them. I'm either going use this pattern from Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/neat-ripple-pattern or this plain striped one http://bobblesandbaubles.com/decadent-stripes-afghan-with-pattern/

I think using a neutral color like black, white, eggshell between each color would break up the darkness.

I love personal swaps! PM me!
