Ok, so I have a light colored wooden dresser that I want to stencil an intricate design on with contact paper.  The negative space will remain the wood color, so I won't be able to touch up any bleeding paint under the stencil.  Is there a clear primer or something that I can paint over the contact paper first to keep paint from bleeding?
Thanks!

I would use a wax resist. Easy to peel/pick off afterwards and shouldn't ruin the finish at all. Smiley
