Jasper Fforde is so much fun! Smiley I read Shades of Grey as part of my scifi book club when it first came out, but I just went to find out about the sequel and it hasn't come out yet.  Maybe I'll pick up a Thursday Next... um, next. Smiley

I received from MeganCrafts and finally had the chance to open her parcel today!  I'm so in love with everything she sent!  I feel totally spoiled!!

First we have this super cute cassette tape zip pouch!  I've always wanted one and now I have one of my favoritest books ever!

(and the view from the top, with yummy looking chocolate!!)

I literally squeed when I opened these two!!  I think they're Katniss and Peeta!  (woo team Peeta!!!) I mean these guys are so super adorable!!

The books look really good too! I've heard good things!  Can't wait to dive in!

Thank you so so so so much MeganCrafts, everyone you can now be jealous! Grin

I'm so glad you like everything!! I made myself one of those cassette tape wallets awhile ago and people really seem to like it. Plus credit cards fit into it perfectly. And I'm not sure if you noticed, but the second book is signed by the authors, thanks to the conference I went to last month.
ahhh!!!  I didn't!  how cool!  thank you! <3  I actually started reading City of Dark Magic and it's grabbed hold pretty quickly!  I'm really liking it so far!!

I think I'm going to try to create a goodreads list to go with our swap. I'll also post it here for anyone without goodreads.

I'm looking forward to this list Smiley

I received today from goldfishpollywog (after the first package got lost in the mail, she was ever so kind to re-craft) and it was definitely worth the wait!!

She sent the most exquisite coin purse featuring my favorite character from my favorite book, Holden Caulfield from "Catcher in the Rye."

And on the back is one of my favorite quotes: "I like it when somebody gets excited about something. It's nice.

And she sent the book "Candor" by Pam Bachorz. It's got a young adult sci-fi, dystopian-y feel to it, so I will definitely love it.

Again, thank you so, so much for the excellent package!

Love that cute purse and not heard of that book, looks good.

Sylvani said her life was looking like it was going to get busy and to upload a photo if I wanted.

One of her favourite books is Howl's Moving Castle and one of her favourite characters is Calcifer. I had not read the book, but I did watch the film and fell in love with this little guy. This is Calcifer and his fireplace from the film. She has said she loves him!  Cheesy

We had lots of conversations about books, with the language difference, but she had always wanted to read Jane Eyre in English, which I managed to find in the second shop I went into! The other book, Room, by Emma Donoghue is a book that I loved. It was recommended to me by several different people and even though I would never have picked it myself, it is an amazing book and the story has stayed with me.
