Here's the craft that I sent to theboywonder.  They are Hunger Games artist tiles (instead of ATCs) painted onto recycled samples for countertops.  The mockingjay pin is a painted Altoids tin to keep them in. The 12 is a mini book.  The book that I sent was One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

So many cool little things in the gallery that I almost missed!  What sweet embroidery on the coin purse!  Adorable Calcifer!  and lovely tiles!

Calcifer looks adorable. I never even knew it was a book even though I've seen the movie countless times.

Great upcycle on the tiles dustyfro.

In a very strange turn of events, the origional package that was sent to me by goldfishpollywog was given to me yesterday by my apartment manager. She her it since FEBRUARY(!!!!!!) and just now thought to give it to me! (Even though I had asked her back in FEBRUARY if it was sent to the office by mistake and she said if it was she would let me know.) To be fair, she let me know! Anyways, I will be posting pictures later this evening. I just wanted to give you this strange little update.

Better late then never I suppose, lol. I am surprised she even gave it to you after all this time.

That's true. I'm still shocked by the whole ordeal, so forgive the photo quality.

Everything together:

The front of the coin purse (featuring Holden from Catcher in the Rye)

And my personal favorite part (oh the irony):

The quote says "People are always ruining things for you."

Thank you so much again, goldfishpollywog! And I'm sorry that I have such a crappy apartment manager! (Actually she isn't that bad, the situation just stunk!)  Grin

Wow, that was a kink in the plot line wasn't it.  Sorry that you have two of the same coin purses, but I hope you enjoy them and the books.

That is crazy! I'm glad that you got your original package. Thinking of lost packages - especially Craftster packages - makes me sad. So I'm glad it made it to you. Smiley

Also, this was a really fun swap. We should do it again!

Let me 'splain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.
