Okay I know I'm joining in on this a bit late. But I've been wanting to knit this sweater for some time now. (Funny that I should finally decide to do it in the summer.) It seems a bit intimidating since I've never attempted to knit a sweater before. But I think I understand most of the instructions. I think I already have a color chosen and then I'll just have to buy the needles. But I was wondering if it would matter if I used 29" needles instead of 24"?

The neckline may be a bit snug to start on 29", but you can use Magic Loop or a single loop variation and still use the longer needle.

Hi all! It's been a very long time since I've been on Craftster since I joined Ravelry.com years ago, but it was time to update this thread!
Please check out the first post on this thread for the updated PDF in English, Spanish or French!

Happy knitting!

So just done with this entire thread (yes, all 97 pages!). Very inspiring but I wonder how achievable for someone who has never knitted before (I think I did some squares back in primary school/pre 1995)?

I recently bought some wool to start an arm knitted scarf so once that's done I may have some money to buy some circulars and more wool. I hope to join on this KAL (even if no one else is going it at the same time lol)
