Crocheted hats are quick and easy. I make hats when i don't want to follow a long complex pattern.

Post your list update when you can. share the pattern you used, pictures.

Here's a list of great hats

Thanks for starting this up for 2014, that1girl! I started off well in 2013, and then broke my wrist... so I'm going to try again this year! To start me off, I'm copying the list of hats (#1-6) I had planned to do last year but didn't get to, and then I'll add to it (#7-14).

1. Voyages Beanie (pattern link)
2. Frog Beanie (pattern link)
3. Kaleidoscope Beret (pattern link)
4. Blackberry Salad Striped Baby Bonnet (pattern link)
5. Phannie Beret (pattern link)
6. Straw Sun Hat (pattern link)
7. Long Tailed Baby Elf Hat (pattern link)
8. Diamond Ridges (pattern link)
9. Built-in Bow (pattern link)
10. Moose (or Reindeer) Hat (pattern link- not a free pattern!)
11. Aries Hat (pattern link)
12. Fire Whirl Hat (pattern link- not a free pattern!)

I love this idea, and I know plenty of peoples that like hats (myself included).  I will try these once I find my yarn stash (we recently moved).

Gspinn, I really like that Gingham hat! Were the color changes a pain? Did you crochet over the colors, or did you carry over the yarn? Hopefully you didn't have to weave in a bajillion tails!

The color changes weren't too bad. The yarn is carried and not crocheted over. I can take a picture of the inside. It was a lot easier then I thought it would be. The yarn is carried throughout so there are only the beginning and ending threads to weave in. If it would be helpful I could take a picture of the inside.

Thanks, Gspinn! If it's not too much trouble... I really do like the look of it, and if it looks good on the inside, then I'll definitely add it to the list!

This is the inside of a pink and grey gingham hat I made last year, I already sent the purple and blue one to my friend.
