With the new series coming out in July, I would like to have a girly night for the premiere when it makes its debut.
I have started a Pinterest board to gather some thoughts, but would really appreciate some ideas, and would also love to know if anyone else is planning a similar event and what they plan to do.
So for the music I was thinking assorted instrumental versions of the soundtracks like the Brass Fantasia, Piano Fantasia, and Orgel Fantasia versions available at http://sailormusic.net/. This will be a group of 20-30 year old ladies who grew up watching the original series.
So far I have been thinking about the following:

Desserts: Brooch designed cake or chocolate dipped Oreo cookies
Snacks: Popcorn?
Cocktails: Pineapple upside-down cake or pink lemonade moscatto punch, tea as a non-alcoholic option
Activities: Trivia contest, manicures, Wii dance games, spa treatments, and of course the premiere of the new series!
Decor: I wanna build a blanket fort, and have a table decorated with some of my old toys (I have the first season locket, the old Crescent Wand, some plastic gems)

Anybody have any suggestions of what to serve and things to do, or general party planning advice?
Thanks!

What a great idea! I can't think of anything right now but you are for sure on the right track.
