The housing is a tin lid from a candle. I think it's about 3" across.

Love it! Also love the rainbow colored thing on the L side of the pic....paper is it?

DragonChilde did well by me! We agreed to do an extra for each other,  I sent her something in return for an extra shrine for my boss who loves Virgin Mary.

Mine is the Triple Goddess.....squee!

My groovy shrine is made from I think a tea box. She made a triple panel on the inside. The right side has the crone. And a lady who looks a lot like Morigan Le Fay from Mists of Avalon....

Left and right sides:

The back which I like just as much as the front:

The top with moon and symbols of the quarters, I know it's hard to see in these pics, there is a fern and flowers:

The sides also have waxing and waning moons.

The one for the boss with bright polka dots on the outside to match her personality.

The two with electric tealights in them:

I love it! Thanks so much, hope you like your stuff too!

How cool to put it in a tin box ... I would have never thought of that!

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

I love the triple goddess shrine too! Great idea with the tea tin.
So I recieved a beautiful shrine from Ludi yesterday!

It's absolutely amazing and even the boyfriend loves it, and now it hangs more in the living room rather than in the kitchen. Thanks Ludi!

I received from Monnie today!!! She sent two shrines because she always spoils lol!

First up is an earth goddess shrine!

This lovely box opens up!

And reveals this lovely goddess! I love it!!!!

And now a moon goddess shrine!

I love the mushrooms and pine cones! Its so cute! AND...it hangs on the wall!

(a small piece broke off in transit, not surprising since we've been having super frigid temperatures! But its an easy enough fix Wink )

Thanks so much Monnie!!!! Love swapping with you!!

I love the idea of the horizontal box shrine, Monnie. And because it's horizontal, you could actually put some earth into the compartments of that Earth shrine, Mandy!

emily, I think I forgot to mention she's meant to be Freya. The image is from a painting of Venus by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. This is Freya in her capacity as the goddess of love and springtime.  I wanted to try to get more attributes in there, but could not make a good composition with them.   Tongue

The flat altar is a genius idea indeed! I'd put earth in it too Smiley
