So I bought a pair of grey/Taupe cords, but they were tighter in the calves then I like. So I thought I'd do this to them.

Well in my wisdom, I cut the front of one leg up to the knee, and the back of the other leg.
So my question is now what? I'd like to keep them as pants

do the same cut in both legs, then fancy stitch up the back of them like with ribbon or something and the lacy thing in the front, if you keep it simple in the back or in a shade of the same colour could be awesome!

love to take part in personal swaps, I would love a poppet of my very own, or a doll like the ones made by Poppets & Lace

I would say the same, do the same to both legs and lace up the back and ruffle the fronts! Good luck and let us know what you did!

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

Really beautiful. I must find a pair of pants to do this too.
