Hi from Belgium!

I made another top out of cotton jersey fabric. This time in two colours: turquoise and taupe.

(I appologize for the bad photo quality due to the lack of good light at this time of the year.)
(And I think I should stop wearing that bra..., lol)

I am wearing it now and it is very comfortable.
(I have fibromyalgia and need comfortable clothes.)

I used a commercial pattern (Fashion Trends magazine, in Dutch, nr.11, model 14), but made a lot of changes. The pattern was for a fitted dress... As you can see, I didn't make a dress and I don't have the right body for a fitted pattern.

I'd love to hear what you think of it!

PS: I already cut out the fabric pieces for a second one, in taupe and black.

LOVELY! I also suffer from FMS so know where you are coming from with comfy clothes - you can't beat soft &stretchy for those days when you feel your body hates you. Gentle hugs!

Very nice! I like the length as well. It's so hard to get a shirt that is long enough!
You do such tidy work!

Great design and I like the color blocking style, too. Also agree with cackle on the length. Smiley

Thanks for the hug, Kookaloo_Starr!
And thanks for the compliments, everyone!
Yep, commercial clothes being made from synthetic fabrics and being too short or ill-fitted is why I started making my own.

That looks so comfy! I love the colors. Black and taupe will look great, too.

I really like the mix of the bright teal with the more neutral taupe color on the sides/sleeves. It's a great combination. The neckline is really nice too - I love the stitched detail you added. I want one!

Thanks, LimeRiot!

In fact the neckline is lined with the taupe colour.
The stitching around the outline serves to keep it in place, while being decorative at the same time.

I love this!  Thanks for the pattern information!  It looks very stylish and comfy---a great combo...I think sewing for our special needs is one of the best reasons to sew...you can get exactly what you want!

Lovely sewing as well...
