Finally managed to repair a beloved sweater my mom knit 30 years ago. The cuffs were worn out, so after a lot of asking around, i did the complete cuffs anew. I used old yarn as well as leftover yarn (I don't know why she kept it that long, but I'm very glad). Only problem is, leftover yarn is much brighter... Oh well. Can't have it all!

I like how you made it all new, it's so much better than buying a new one.

It is a very nice mending of a lovely sweater. And what a good quality it is, looking so well after 30 years use.
