Sounds pretty darn yummy. Tomato paste and mustard are both in many versions of baked beans so if you like that flavour you'll probably like this dish too Wink.

Well, I do love BBQ sauce but I choose to remain ignorant about what's actually in it LOL!  BBQ is actually one of the few condiments that I will actually eat.  I am a weird eater....

So my FAVORITE slow cooker recipe for pork loin is Parmesan Honey Pork roast.  The ingredients do not sound like they should go together, honey, parmesan cheese, & soy sauce,  but they come together well and they it's SO good.

We've done a honey soy ginger garlic sticky fire pit chicken before that was terrific so I can see it. Also a honey mustard version that was like spicy candy OMG.

The crockpot is EXCELLENT for warm weather cooking! My gosh girls, just plug that sucker in on the porch! LOL, nothing but cold happens in my kitchen when it's roasting hot outside, I don't believe in air conditioning so it's BBQ and outdoor crockpottery all the way.

Hot weather is bear season at my house, so I might have to just keep 'er in the house!

Oh and yellow jacket season, too. Sad

Last year we got a gift subscription to Cooking Light magazine and tomorrow I'm going to try a white bean and smoked ham hock soup if I can get all the ingredients at our local super market in the morning. I'll let you know how it goes. Oh, and I'm going to make the dump cake, but with cherry pie filling and devils food cake mix!

Oh, the bears would not be put off by a hot crock, that would not work at all! The yellow jackets though, they are no bother so long as the lid's on. I put it on the porch at the cottage in summer. We've a balcony here, I'll have to watch out for brave and hungry squirrels!

Everyone knows that bears only eat honey, you would be safe, T.  Cheesy Tongue

Even in the city we have little critters that would love an outdoor crockpot. We also have resident crows that I'm sure would figure out how to get into a crockpot.  Cheesy

I am making a roast in the crock today!  Super simple, beef broth and a package of Lipton's Beef & Onion mix sprinkled over the top.  I love getting home from work and having dinner be ready!

Why oh why have I never thought of that before.  I know how I'm cooking this summer.
