My oldest and dearest friend, the man who stood up for me and owned the title of maid of honour when I got married, found his own lady love. Since they live thousands of kilometers away I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting her. When he first told me of his engagement. He expressed concern that her 'clean modern Scandinavian ' decorating style and his 'bachelor cabin the woods' style would be hard to blend...

Pah!

. This side is Glimma by Lotta Jansdotter. I'd say that fits one bill.

And for him. I found a basic plaid flannel in greys and blacks.

I got it in the mail yesterday. Hopefully. It will keep them warm during long winter nights. For years to come.

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Lovely work!  What a unique idea to blend the two of them together, kind of symbolic of marriage.  I really like the quilt pattern, may have to look that one up  Smiley

I really like the modern design of this quilt and the merging of their styles.  Such a lovely wedding gift.

What a lovely quilt.  The perfect modern rustic style. I am sure your friend and his bride to be will be thrilled.
