I'm not sure who I am sending to - but I hope they like it - I sent a little extra too - keeping fingers crossed that the gods of the mail services are nice to me - and my receiver!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I know who I am sending to, and I hope they like it, now to stalk them for any extra info on extras... wee extras figured out and decided upon, hehe... will do my best to send on Monday but may have to send a day or two late. I am a night shift RN and this is my week to work, so since the PO doesn't open until 10am when I am in bed, and my first day off is spent sleeping mostly, it may not be until Friday, but I will do my best...

Hey fellow RN - I switch back and forth, but love it when I work nights, because the morning after is the perfect time for me to go to the PO and reward myself by supply shopping.

I know who my winner is...I'm not sure if they like my monsters or not, so I sure hope they like the art.

I went to the store and got an envelope large enough today, so I'll be shipping tomorrow.

I haven't sent yet but I know who I am sending to Smiley Should send tomorrow, still trying to figure out how to mail a painting because I never mailed one. I am little worried it will get damaged, it's got a long way to go to it's destination.

Can you find a flat box? then make an interior frame or box for your painting inside the box. I cut corrugated cardboard a bit wider than the depth of the art work and tape it down on edge...in other words the little grooves in the cardboard are vertical or standing up. Corrugated cardboard is pretty strong this way. Then nest the artwork in the little nest you created wrapped in a little bubble wrap or tissue. Depending on how strong the box is, you may want to also sandwich with additional flat cardboard.
