Hello fabulous crocheters!  I thought for 2014 we could have a Wool-Eater-Along.  For those of you who have not tried a Wool-Eater pattern yet, I think you will find it tons of fun. The Wool-Eater (aka Bavarian Stitch, Catherine Wheel w/Post Stitch, Wheel Stitch) is a great way to use up oddballs and destash (because who doesn't need a bit of destash every once in awhile).  You can use this pattern to create blankets, motifs, pillows, potholders, and more.  I hope you join me, I'll get pics up of my first-ever Wool-Eater blankie soon.  I can't wait to see everyone's color palettes and creations. Oh, you got to try it!  I've had it my to-do list forever.  Then I decided to spend the winter destashing, and thought this would be the perfect project.  I'm sort of addicted to it now. Grin

Thank you for posting the links to this blanket!  How hard would you say the difficulty level is?

Pinkleo I love your blanket! I don't think it's a difficult pattern to do from what I've seen Ladybugsandbumblebees, but I think the rows are long to do, is that right Pinkleo? That's what's been putting me off of doing it anyways, but if I'm wrong I'll jump right in! I've even seen a longer version of this so it's not just square. I'll have to look for that one.

Eta, duh, guess it should have checked your links! You already have that one linked. Sorry, Smiley

No prob.  And on difficulty, it's not that bad.  Most difficult bit is back-post, triple crochet decrease; with a little practice, I know anyone can do it.  Once you get the basics down, you are just repeating.  I always point peeps towards the videos; they are a tremendous help. Grin
