So I've taken a couple of classes at the local Painting With a Twist and love it, but at $35 - $45 a class I just can't take that many.  I'm not comfortable enough in my abilities to just paint, does anyone know of a good, free resource for instructions?  These are the type of things I'm looking for http://www.paintingwithatwist.com/lexington/calendar/I especially like animals and trees.  Foxes are my absolute favorites!

I've found a lot of art instruction on YouTube by searching the medium I was interested in.  Although I have a ton of art books that are helpful, there is nothing like seeing what someone is attempting to demonstrate.

ps. you really should just paint if you can!  Start yourself an art journal to play around in, you don't have to show it to anyone.  But giving yourself permission to fool around with art is one of the best ways to grow your skills Smiley
