The weather has been extremely cold here in Kentucky, as it has in much of the nation.  For the past few years we've had very mild winters, but it looks like this one is going to be worse than usual.  Add to that a very poorly insulated house, and you end up with freezing cold floors.  My poor husband has taken to putting his feet directly in front of the space heater to keep his toes warm.  So I finally got around to making him a nice warm pair of slippers to hopefully help keep him warm.

The pattern is the Opa House Slipper Pattern from Mamachee on Etsy.  They yarn is Vanna's Choice in Black and Brick.

Also, I have to give a big huge shout out and THANK YOU to pinkleo, who helped me with these from afar.  I was having a great deal of trouble getting the soles to work out, based on reading the pattern, so she hooked up a pair too, and created a photo tutorial for me over on ravelry.  THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping me dear!!!   Kiss Kiss Kiss

If you used green instead of black those would look like TMNT slippers! Awesome Cheesy.

Those look great.  And super warm and cozy too.  I'm going to have to go check out that pattern.

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.
