Thanks "gotgrey" for asking about our beloved Retired Greyhound Schatzi(means my little Treasure in German) yes we had to put her down last summer she was 14 yrs. & lived a good life. She was loved very much & she loved us too! It was timed but it was very hard.  Cry
Anyway for sure I would love to be partners with you! Your paintings & drawings are always wonderful!!  Hope you had good Christmas & a Great New Year!!   Cheesy

Sorry to hear about your greyhound!  Want me to pick you up another one while Im in FL?  This is #3 for us but I have a sneaking suspicion that my SIL is going to try really hard to woo it away!

Oh Sharelee, I am so, so sorry.  You know I understand how you feel.  You loved Schatzi as much as I loved my dearly departed greyhound, George.  You are in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. pj, greyhounds are like potato chips, you can't have just one!

I could do a memorial painting or drawing of Schatzi too if you would like Sharalee.

Thanks "pjr107" but I think we'll just have the Iggies, I love the bigger retired ones but we are getting older & the body doesn't work to good anymore so the small ones are enough for us. One of our Iggies is a 5 time champion  he's 13 yrs. Jamie & the other one Jazz is 7 yrs. but didn't make it in the show she was to big. We love them both very much & they make us laugh, & they are so cute, funny & smart. We miss our big girl but she is free & running all over I'm sure. She was always the one in charge at our Greyhound picnics & she loved to run. Grin   "pjr107" Good luck on your new greyhound!

"gotgrey" Oh yes that would be very sweet of you to draw or paint a Memorial picture of Schatzi. Cheesy

I just saw this swap now and I'm very interested! My life is a bit upside down now and I would need to wait until Saturday to confirm if I can join to make sure I can handle this with my schedule so if you extended the sign-ups I would be grateful!

Whoever was talking about the lack of yarn wants, I have been drooling over these for over three years:
Knitted Ties http://www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2012/1/19/lauras-loop-father-and-son-knit-ties.html
Bo Peep Scarf http://www.etsy.com/listing/65994261/bo-peep-scarf-knitting-pattern

Drooling, I tell you! haha. I don't know if those are considered huge, giant, or enormous but I would be happy with multiple colors if not! Wink

In terms of me, I make all kinds of things! I haven't been crafting so much lately because there has been a lot of turmoil over here but I find it therapeutic and it would be a good thing for me to do right now. I design fabric, some of it I silkscreen myself. I sew all kinds of stuff and also enjoy making costumes and accessories. I illustrate and paint - that kind of stuff can translate to anything really including wall art which I saw was mentioned Smiley

This swap looks really cool but I don't know that anyone would want jewelry as their "big" thing since that's probably the thing I'm best at. Something like a super luxe tree or something would certainly be an option. I could also make one of my little hutches (example or example) which I haven't done in awhile because they're so time-consuming. Um...other really "big" projects I've made would also be like my Halloween in Wonderland Memory Tray and similar projects. Again, not sure if any of that is something people are interested in.

As far as my interest, I'd LOVE to have someone make a Doc Brown and/or Marty McFly doll from Back to the Future. (like this or this kind of thing). Or I love this knit shrug.  Or some steampunk riding pants would be awesome. So there's a variety.

But again...not sure if I have something to offer that someone would want so I'm throwing it out there to see if there's interest to warrant signing up.

Actually, wire tree is even on someone's list! Some folks listed jewelry too!

We'd be lucky to have you.  Grin
