The previous and really shifty tenants of my apt nailed a board to the wall, with nails in it, as a coat/key rack.  I covered it in old wallpaper I thrifted in Louisville (yeah, Unique!) and got white hooks at Walmart.

Last summer, I had a dream that I lived in a place with a living room big enough to have shows in and a mermaid on the refrigerator, so I made her.

Thanks!
I'm thinking about using the wallpaper to cover my kitchen cabinets, too.  There was a project here a little while ago where someone made paper-covered panels to put over their ugly cabinets.

Thanks--she came from an old cookbook, a Green Goddess salad dressing recipe, I think.  There were some great pirates, too!
