I used the Bernat Wavy Ripple pattern on the Yarnspirations site. The yarn is Red Heart Soft Baby Steps.
It ended up smaller than I hoped, even though I increased the original amount of stitches. It's roughly 35 x 35 inches.

Beautiful! I hate when projects turn out a different size than anticipated, but I am sure this one will be well received by baby.

Thanks! I'm still new at crochet, so I still view sizes as a suggestion.  Tongue

This is my first blanket for Project Linus. They accept donations of hand made blankets for babies & kids in crisis situations (hospitals, shelters, foster & adoptive situations, etc.)

Thanks! I'm almost finished with my second one. It's the same pattern in chocolate brown, pale blue, and ivory. I've started a third in a different pattern. 😃

Sounds lovely, I can't wait to see them!   Now you have me wanting to work up this pattern...that's what I love about Craftster, so much inspiration!  Really gets  my crafty muses singing Grin

At the mo I have a wool-eater baby blanket in the works.  I'm lovin' the results so far; plus, I'm destashing a bunch of baby yarn I had about. Smiley
