Well I had no plans for swapping anytime soon since life has been so depressing as of late and I've been rather down. But I got a PM out of the blue today form someone I swapped with. It was a project she had used my stamps I made her on and it made me smile and now I want to carve stamps something offal. If the feeling is still here in a few days then I'll be signing up.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

Just sent in my questionnaire. I hope its not too late to be a part of the group. The last time I did the stamp swap, it was a lot of fun.

Oath Keeper, crafting for others can usually help me get out of a funk. I hope you decide to join!
I'm almost glad that sign ups are so long so that others can join us, but I am ready to start carving NOW! GAH!

As a warm-up, I'm carving a few stamps to use in another swap I'm working on. I'd forgotten that it does take a bit of practice to get back to being more-or-less in control of the material. The first few cuts were pretty sloppy!

Well between my desire to be crafty right now and the kind words from my fellow craftsters, how could I say no?
I just sent in my questionnaire and ordered some more carving material since I just saw how little I had left.

I'm planning on making a few stamps for when school goes back next week, as teacher gifts, for that exact reason  Wink

I'm working on practice stamps myself; SO much fun!  I love how stamp carving is like mini-sculpture.
