I would join again!

I like the time theme I think that would be an awesome one open to interpretation like places was.

I also like the flora/fauna/biology theme.

So like prayer flags incorporate words like strength, grow, inspire, etc.  What about a hoopla in this style?

Since summer is going to be here before we know it, how about an outdoors theme?  or vacation theme?

I would be all over another round, whenever it happens. Of the ideas suggested so far I really like the idea of time, a lot of great things fall under that. Same with fantasy... I would have so much fun with that.

A suggestion off the top of my head is people. Famous people, fictional people, merpeople, anyone!

Favourite books, films or shows.

dreams and nightmares.

looking forward to hearing other ideas!

I have not really done hooping since childhood. Have there been fairly newbies in past swaps? should I wait til there is a beginner's hoopla swap?

I think the next round should start in June. Maybe life will finally be a little calmer and I can feel better about joining that round. Of course, life was "calmer" here before this round and now I'm sending almost 2 weeks late. The time period theme seems to be most popular so far, but I'm really liking the Prayer Flag idea, though I would call it something else because "prayer," most commonly associated with religion, can be intimidating to some people. Like "the inspirational round" or something would be better than "the prayer flag round" ya know? And I totally jumped the gun with all of that but whatever.

I like these suggestions:

They seem to be the ones with the widest area of interpretation.

Would "I wish...." be a good theme?

the time theme could also include favourite time of day, clocks and watches, lots of possibilities.

I would pass on the prayer flags, I'm not intimidated but just very not religious.
