this laptop case is basically two giant TM patches, one with some 'mantra stitching' (spirals of blanket stitch), and the other plain except a couple of buttons. all the thread, fabric & trim (to fasten) was left over scraps from other projects.
the idea of mantra stitching is that you don't plan it too much - draw a free hand spiral, not being overly careful about line thickness... then just blanket stitch. When  your thread runs out, pick another. It's like named after the mantra you chant while meditating; repetitive and calming, not too structured

the other side is plain linen with just two wooden buttons for the fastening, these were given to me a while ago by a friend who had brought too many for her project, so... more project leftovers (just not my project!)

I'm always up for swapping hexies or TM patches (or anything, really!) - PM me Cheesy

That's gorgeous, I love it!  Mantra stitching sounds soothing.  You did a great job, and I like that the buttons fit the rainbow theme.  Smiley

I just did some mantra stitching and it was so nice. This one is way cooler than the one I did, though. And it's actually functional, always a bonus!
