That trunk ATB is amazing! Beautiful work and such fun. I want a mini journal too!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and the mini journal locket came from Joann's fabric

A very special thank you to Wulf for saying "but it doesn't do anything..." because that sparked the inspiration for cackle's block.

I'm glad something came of it, because ironically, in the end my ATB doesn't do anything either! Cheesy

Wonderful stuff, everyone. I always love these swaps where people's interpretation of the central idea are so widely varied. You literally never know what will turn up next in the Gallery thread!

Ok swappers, you better sit down for this one! I have received the most spectacular ATB from Knickertwist!

I kinda rushed the pics tonight to get them up here - I'll post better ones tomorrow!

Knickers - it's FANTABULOUS! You gave me a hot air balloon and I fantasize about hot air balloons. You're the best!

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Oh Supermutts, what a beautiful ATB! I can't help but think of a fancy Harry Potter trunk full of spell books.  Roll Eyes Very cool idea to lie it flat. Who knew a boring block of wood could yield such wonderful art!

(Insert Canadian French here) Knickertwist! It's gorgeous!

Love the hot air balloon and snail "basket" - so fun. And I really wanted to add wheels to the piece I made - I need to learn how to do that!

And it's true, my sister has a thing about hot air balloons! Knickers, you must be psychic.
