I was planning on sending yesterday morning but forgot to pack everything up and didnt have time to do it before I ran out the door. I wouldve done it today, but we got snow, and I woke up late.

So, SOMETIME my partner will get her package!

I have a box that is about the same size as a medium flat rate. Once I get to the post office (next week!), I'll have to see if it'll be cheaper to use the flat rate box or my box. And...

SNOW DAY TOMORROW!! So, if I get up early (like 7:30... but that's still 2 hours later than a normal weekday), I can get a whole bunch of things done! I have to get the dishes done tonight ( Tongue ), and then I can have a clean conscience (and sink) tomorrow. In fact, after I do the dishes, I will start the pile of supplies!

That's what I was going to do, too. Though I'm pretty sure flat rate boxes are only cheaper if it's super heavy, or if it's going past the Mississippi. Have fun on your snow day! I'm excited about crafting tomorrow too!

I usually go for flat rate, because I like the automatic insurance and tracking (so I don't have to remember to ask for it), and also because they're priority, so they get to anywhere on the mainland in 3 days or less!  (That way, I don't have to worry about them taking their merry time to get there...)

Sometimes, I think it might be more expensive than non-flat rate, but I think it's worth it for me!! (And also, it gives me a size limit too.  I usually aim for a medium; however, I have one thing I accidentally started making that isn't going to fit, unless I get one of those flatter medium boxes... but then it's possible something else won't fit... oy!  I need to re-think the strange sized item, since I'm not sure it's turning out all that great anyway...)

I think we're in the same zone, so my box should be good! Smiley

Okay, back to work!

Yay my parcel is all wrapped up and ready for my husband to take it to the post office tomorrow! (Although he is brewing a cold so if he is too poorly I may not get it sent)
